Department Motto
The Zhenghua PE experience
The Zhenghua PE experience offers students the opportunity to learn a myriad of skills and acquire leadership through sports and outdoor education. Above physical education, students hone their leadership skills and social-emotional competencies. The department adopts an inclusive approach towards PE to ensure that students of all abilities can participate and enjoy PE lessons.
Through our school’s Outdoor Education programme, students have the opportunity to experience the following:
- Acquire First Aid skills
- Develop Orienteering competency
- Experience Watersports
- Develop a sense of safety through team belay, rock-climbing and scale high elements in PE
- Hone organizational skills and outdoor education through the implementation of own class expedition
- Get to know the school and surroundings better through the Secondary One orientation camp
- Develop into self-actualized students of life, through character and values teaching in PE
